Tyson used to be uber fattt! :O lol no pics leeh. haha. he started running 5 miles a day to lose weight wasehhh! look at them when they younger lehh :O

(well ex, i'll get into that..) ..the album consists of 9 songs. all i think arent as good as the ones now :P hehe. i remember that there was a previous drummer that wasnt chris gaylor :O dno who. looks weird though LOL dun have the pic :X i like Fembot, Too Far Gone and Dont Leave Me in this album. his voice kinda like different so dont really like it here ehehe

sooo yesterday my sis and i went FOOODDD SHOPPANNGG ;D we bought rm 120 + worth of food. madness lol ! cos my mom like left us foodless -.- and i think we wanted so much food cos we were fasting =.=" yesterday morning i ate ribbssss in the morning WOOO THATS a first xD haahha. it was like bloody so i din really enjoy it == my sis' one was less bloody hmmmphh. we bought mr potato, ice lollies , lollipops , sm stuff at magicbite ♥, twisties, cottage fries, nuggets, sausages, peanuts, cauliflower (LOL) , and like so mush more ._.

ohhh! we also went shopping for stationery for me and adrian's love in a box thingg. i bought :

Maths : 75 ( OH SHUDDUP, I KNOW YOU DID MUCH BETTER, WHOEVER YOU ARE) its 30/40. andy so sad got 22/30 nia. julia got one digit nia o_O . . . some ppl got 0 deh. vivian the smarty got like 39/40, i think. crazy.
Geo : 80!! WOOOOO I DUN CARE ITS SO LOW, ITS MY FIRST A FOR GEO IN MY ENTIRE FREAKING LIFE GAHH!! FOR 2 1/2 YEARS I HAVE BEEN GETTING 78/76/79, NOW ITS FINALLY 80 OMG!
BM (TEST 1 , 80 questions ) : this was...well... i was one of the four to get A in the class. i think i got 69/80, yeah. beat andy too! XD
BM (TEST 2, 60 questions ) : er... first 28 all correct! :) Cikgu danny told that to 3A =.=" crazyyyhh!! he said " Atikah semak sehingga nombor 29 hanya satu salah orh..." gah. thn i got 52/80, same as vivian. oh, btw, beat andy AGAIN! :D

Shake was behind me i think..yeah. and today, i had to take pic for red crescent, debate, interact and class moniters. i feel like im missing a club or sth O_o anyway, i sat down for one nia ^.^ which is debate cz i was exco. woots..!! :D Interact i stood on the bench WAYYY to the side.. when lining up for red crescent i saw julia doing her best to escape sitting down and running to the back during the art club phototakig, but poor her, it didnt work. the front row pulled her back haahha. she says its cos she's vice secretary or sth for art club. =.="

BM aural after holidays. holiday homework being distributed already. i have agama on friday 8-10pm, then agama for 4 days in a row at 8-11 am starting frm saturday. and my piano teacher will of cos try to fit in her extra classes for me too. injection on Monday i think. or tuesday. the prevention of cervical cancer thingy. my last jab for it! :D then i'll be leaving for kl on the 2nd week of the hols. then come back on sunday night, go sch for 3 days ( mum in london already, dad in kl so im with my granma at home, yay freedom on computer! ) then on wednesday, i'll be flying to kl and the next day is london. will be back 4th July, Saturday, 6th July will be exam. this'll be very interesting, dont you think?

well. today we started off with english essay competition.

what i would do if i had an extra hour.

or smth like that.

i wrote a 438-worded poem. that is so freaking long, it took up 3 pages. instead of writing one thing i would like to do, i just threw ideas around and wrote verses on them. so, i wrote about holding a gathering for 2c08... and i talked about rushing off to charmaine's house to meet everyone there... hmm, rushing off to the primary school teachers to thank them..spending time with my brother and sister. and in the end i wrote that if that was all too hard, i'd just get on my com and start talking to everyone about all the memories we'll never forget. blah, it sounds so plain... the poem isnt this plain haha. argh, when i have time i'll type it out and put it up here. too malas to go to my room xD

oh, and during break i was approached (waseh) by the one and only linda. BAM! she shoved the tickets for the aloha chicken pie in my face.

its kinda silly. only got Jap version. my brother says americans dont like it that much so they dont cr8 the eng version. -.-

those stuff are what you get through story mode. other than that, you can unlock stages. [quite lame TT]

to unlock chars, you nid to play battle mode! its mostly for 1 player, but if there are some fights you play with support, and you can set the support to be either cpu or the 2nd player.

i also played Red Star with my brother. its like kinda old.. made in 2006 and the graphics are 2-D. but it rawks. and is super hard TT

anyway, read about it.

The Red Star was in a near-final state and was fast approaching its original fall 2004 release date when its beleaguered publisher, the now-defunct Acclaim Entertainment, filed for bankruptcy. Acclaim shut down all operations and sold off whatever assets it had--from office furniture to unfinished games. The Red Star, though, seemed to have been lost in the shuffle, permanently shelved. Nearly two years passed before XS Games unexpectedly announced that it was resurrecting The Red Star and bringing it to the PlayStation 2. As entertainingly tumultuous as this development history is, The Red Star beats the odds and manages to stand on its own as a highly concentrated action game that ably blends two old-school genre staples--the beat-'em-up and the top-down shooter--into an unrelenting experience.

The Red Star is based on a graphic novel of the same name that takes place in an alternate-history version of Soviet Russia, the URRS, where technology and magic commingle. The game features plenty of locations and characters from the graphic novel, but the game doesn't capture that hard, cold, Soviet feel, nor does it put much stock in the story. Instead, The Red Star focuses wholeheartedly on the action. You can choose from two different characters to play as, and while both can dish out ranged weapon fire as well as up-close melee attacks, each encourages a different play style. Makita is nimble, but she doesn't deal much damage with her hammer and sickle, and can't take much damage, either, while Kyuzo is more like a tank--slow-moving, heavily armored, and capable of administering powerful attacks.

When you first start the game, it has the appearance of a standard side-scrolling beat-'em-up. You walk to the right down a narrow path as squads of enemy soldiers come at you, and you dish out multihit combo attacks by repeatedly tapping on the square button. Even if it never deviated from this formula, The Red Star would be pretty good as a pure beat-'em-up. There's a good variety of enemies, each of which requires a different strategy to defeat. Some enemies are unharmed by either ranged or melee attacks, or they might be damaged by a ranged attack only after being stunned by a melee attack, while others are able to roll out of regular combos. There are enemies that can prove to be a handful when you're just fighting them one-on-one, and after you've had a few encounters with that type of enemy, the game's not afraid to throw several of them at you at once, along with a few other types of enemies for good measure. You've got a formidable arsenal on your side, but it still gets real hectic real quick.

As much fun as the pure beat-'em-up action in The Red Star can be, the game's real strength is how it constantly mixes up the action. At several points during every mission, alarms will go off and the camera will shift perspective. Your side-scrolling beat-'em-up will suddenly turn into a top-down shooter, complete with screen-filling war machines that spew complex bullet patterns for you to maneuver around. The recurrently shifting nature of the gameplay keeps you on your toes, and knowing that each level will contain what amount to several massive boss fights is great motivation to push forward. Though the back-and-forth pattern of fighting a gang of enemy soldiers and then blasting your way through some giant boss fight eventually becomes a little predictable, it ultimately staves off the monotony that often plagues both shooters and beat-'em-ups.

The levels in The Red Star aren't particularly long, and the game is actually pretty generous with how it ramps up the difficulty, but the pacing is unyielding, and when the game gets hard, it is merciless. You've got but one life bar with which to complete each level, and while you'll usually get a little first-aid kit after each of your big shooter encounters, it's not uncommon to get most of the way through a level just to get smoked and have to do the whole thing over again. The game isn't sadistic about it, but having to replay a full level several times can still prove a bit frustrating. Still, when you do finally get past that one boss fight that you've been banging your head against, it's supremely satisfying.

OH YEAH! IT IS SUPREMELY SUPREMELY SATISFYING!! OMG!! when my bro and i finished the level we were screaming with joy then my mother woke up and scolded us wdh TT

Story

The primary story in Katamari Damacy deals with the aftereffects of the planet-sized King of All Cosmos' binge drinking spree that wiped out all the stars and other celestial bodies from the sky. The King charges his 10-cm-tall son, the Prince, to go to Earth with a "katamari"—a magical ball that allows anything smaller than it to stick to it and make it grow—and collect enough material for him to recreate the stars and constellations. The Prince is successful, and the sky is returned to normal.

A side story follows the Hoshino family as the Prince works at his tasks. The father, an astronaut, is unable to go to the moon after it is wiped out by the King, and the daughter 'senses' the Prince's work - she can feel when each constellation returns to the sky. Ultimately, the family, along with their house and town, are rolled up in the katamari that is used to remake the moon.

Gameplay

The player controls the Prince as he rolls the katamari around various areas in order to meet certain parameters set by the King of All Cosmos. The player uses the two analog sticks on the Dual Shock controller in a manner similar to the classic arcade game battlezone to control the direction the katamari rolls. Other controls can be triggered by the player to gain a quick burst of speed, flip the Prince to the other side of the katamari, and more.

Objects that are smaller than the katamari will stick to it when the player comes into contact with them, while larger objects can be obstacles; colliding at high speed with a larger object may cause objects to fall off the katamari, slowing down the player's progress. The game uses both size and weight to determine if an object will stick to the katamari. This allows long, thin objects, such as pencils, that are larger than the katamari, to be picked up, and these will alter how the katamari rolls until more objects are picked up. Large animals, such as cats, will chase the katamari, knocking things off of it, but once the katamari is large enough, it will scare the animals away, and they can be rolled up once they are chased down. As objects stick to the katamari, the katamari will grow, eventually allowing objects that were once obstacles to be picked up, and creating access to areas that were previously blocked. In this manner, the player might start the game by picking up thumbtacks and ants, and slowly work his way up to the point where he is picking up buildings, mountains and clouds.

The "Make A Star" mode in Katamari Damacy is the primary mode, where the player must grow the katamari to a specific size in a limited amount of time.

The typical mission given by the King of All Cosmos is the "Make a Star" mode, where the player needs to grow the katamari to a specific size within a given amount of time. Other missions have more specific collecting rules, such as collecting as many girls (interpreted liberally, thus including objects such as dolls or female animals) within a given time period, or collecting the largest cow or cow-like object before touching any other similar cow-like object. The player can attempt a score attack mode for any level, in which they would try to make the largest katamari possible in the time allotted. Certain levels can unlock an "eternal mode" by meeting the size requirement within a shorter amount of time. In eternal modes, the player can explore the level as much as he likes with no time limit.

Levels feature two secret items that can be found. The first item is a 'royal present' that contains an object that the Prince can wear. Most gifts are non-functional, but one includes a camera that can be used to take in-game screenshots.The other secret item is a cousin of the Prince, which, once rolled up in main gameplay, can be used as a character in the various multiplayer modes. The game also tracks which objects the player has collected at any time, allowing them to review all the various objects within the game.

Multiplayer mode in Katamari Damacy.

In the two-player mode, a player can pick either the Prince or one of his numerous Cousins to play as. The screen is split vertically; player one is on the left, and player two is on the right. Players compete simultaneously in a small arena to collect the most objects within three minutes. The playfield is replenished with new objects periodically. Players can ram into each other, knocking items off of their opponents' katamaris, and if one player leads by a fair amount, he can even roll up his opponent and his opponent's katamari.

we made new chars..at first we made pirates, but they really really really annoyyed us with the lame attacks coz "we had to wait till 2nd job advancement". and cannot tahan its overpowering lameness T^T. anyways i got a pict of us...NOOBISH!

well, we were downstairs at the carporch waiting for the silly buses to arrive.i sat in front with andy.miss kueh asked me and andy to call wei huang coz he wasnt coming, and when the mother finally picked up after 2 calls to wh's handphone and 3 calls to the house, we couldnt hear a WORD she was saying! T_T so we put down LOL then we went somewhere else to call. and i think that she was so pissed she didnt answer and woke wh up to pick it up hahahha (turns out he wasnt coming coz he had to train for his upcoming tennis championship (gd luck ^^!)

in the busssssss i managed to grab a seat at the back, the long row......(yay!)sat next to andy...sha,viv,and cyn xD and we started playing music and sending pics and stuff with bluetooth ^^ thennnn we got to the borneo mineral water plant -.-

oh! today were the finals for the debate competition =D

motion: thbt convicted rapists should be given a mandatory death sentence

yup, 2A against 2D.to me, the debate could have been alot better. well, i'll just say the verdict now--------2d won -.- aaanyways 2A couldve won, if they din have mistakes, such as if michael din swear, or yi yong corrected herself when she said that she would be ''strenghtening the points given by the opposition bench''when she was the gov bench.and also, you shouldnt wave off a POI by saying its irrelevant when it is, it'll land you in hot water.

there was a loophole in joce's team, coz the opp were talking abt life inprisonment without parol, and the gov team were wholly talking abt the rapists getting out on good behavior.shouldve said abt whether the rapists couldve escaped, therefore posing as a threat. and the opp, if the gov say that its expensive and brings down the economy if you keep a criminal in jail 4eva, coz of the free food, the clothes wtv then you can say abt how the nation can just sacrifice a person that is able to benefit the country and has a future ahead of them for the benefit of the country that will keep the country's economy stable for awhile. -.-

aaah! its over anyways. congrats to jesmond,yvonne and mervin :D and to joce,michael and yi yong, :) dont worry, there's always the form4 debate competition ^^

im starting this blog on a not-too-happy note :(

yes, as u all have heard, we all might be reshuffling T_T

well, u might've seen this from cyn's blog..... but i'm putting it in anyways :D

i cant believe the teachers are doing this to us. only 2 years we've been together, and they're gonna split us up. our class. our wonderful 2c. 2c of 2008. see how nice it'll sound next year-3c of 2009. it'll sound so much better knowing that we're still gonna be in the same class.

this year-is the year that everybody started talking to everybody. last year, we still had our own little groups. of course you'd expect it, the reshuffled us 2 years ago. and plus they had new students coming in. yesh, it was HARD to start making new friends and mixing with new ppl. but this year, we've grown so close.the problems, we went through it all together. the secrets of what happened, we've kept it from the teachers.

im gna miss our class.

on friday, we had to do this play-before that, i thought something was going on with the guys, they were asking me and some other ppl who were quite active in arranging activities for the class to donate. so i gave some money, for smth i din know, too.on that friday, gosh i wish i could just hug them. after the guys' play, about unity, they brought out this wonderful cake which said "2c08 forever". me, and the other class moniter, and josh and ming who were leaving, plus the teachers present, cut the cake with a video cam recording it :D we all cried after that. oh dear. i 'm really sad abt wads gna happen.

i just cant believe it. when the class' peaceful, aint no fights happening, the teachers do this crap.

after the play, the guy class moniter announced:

"as you all know, we might be changing class. the teachers are going to reshuffle us. so as a remembrance, siang lin, as you all know he owns lok thien (a restaurant) is having a free buffet for us next friday, the last day of school, for lunch. everybody's invited. please come, yea? the last chance all of us are going to be together."

we cried.

then we're planning this dinner, now. for the teachers and us. 2c only. no one else is invited. that night is going to be OUR night. our last night together.

forever in our hearts, 2c08 we lov ya.
